When in The Netherlands play with tulip stamps!
So that is what Jill did when we where stamping.
She will share her cards later, because she is on her way home now.
We let ourselves inspired by pinterest
and these where the cards we made;
Focal point the large tulip stamp by Michael Strong.
Twice stamped on white paper and embossed
with orange and green ink with the help of the misti tool.
The background is created with different pieces
of white embossed paper.
The sentiment is also one of Michael Strong.
The 2nd card is created with a Stampin'Up! die
in the background. The tulips are stamped on craft paper.
After coloring it with pencil the tulip was cut out with
the matching metal die. Tied together on a white background
with a Michael Strong sentiment.
On the behive background a few bees are stamped from
the busy bee stamp set by Michael Strong.
Now how about that card for Mojo Monday??
Here it is:
Yes, more tulips!
I had shown Jill a fun aquarelle background
technique and I still had a piece of it left.
About that background technique I have a
picture tutorial HERE.
All about the Mojo Monday sketch
can be found here.
For the card I used the small michael Strong tulip stamp
and a sentiment by Penny Black
The bees are from Michael Strong's busy bee stampset.
The background paper is a piece of kraft paper with golden
birds from a 6x6"paper block.
Thanks very much for looking
and have a creative day!
Leuke tulp-kaarten hebben jullie gemaakt Hetty, vooral de 2e met die gouden doily vind ik erg leuk.
ReplyDeleteEn dan samen stempelen met een Michael Strong-groepslid maakt het nog leuker.
Gosh, these are beautiful cards, I love the tulip stamp. each of the cards, so different, but, each with beautiful qualities.
