Today I have started making my cards for the Jewish New Year.
September 21/22 it is Rosh Hashana, New Year.
The apple and honey are the symbols you see a lot on
Jewish New Year cards, because we dip the apple in
honey at the table celebrating the New Year. If you
want to know more about this custom, read HERE.
Fo my cards Iused the Freshly Made Sketch
of this week.
For my card I used a digital apple stamp by
Michael Strong, that you can download
for free HERE.
I colored the image in PSP and printed the apple
several times, than cut them out.
The background of this card is silver honeycomb and the card
came like this. The strip I decorated with the stencil that came with
Michael Strong's Hannah's Busy Bee stampset.
The sentiment is from my stash.
For this card I used the same background, the same
sketch, the sampe apples and sentiment.
But the crate is a die by Stampin'Up! as is the woodgrain
stamp that I used on the crate formaking it look like a real
crate with apples. Now on to some more variations
to send to my family and friends.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
