Happy Halloween!

 Hello Crafty Friends,

I am in my new home unpacking many...too many boxes. My craft room is smaller than in my other house, so now I have to rearrange and get some things out, but that is a hard choice as all you crafters know! But it has to be done.

So tonight Tim Holtz was live and while he was sharing his techniques and inspiration,

I took out my Snarky Cats for Halloween, that arrived when we were packing up,
so  this was the first opportunity that I could use them.
Here is the first one.
Background is an embossing folder.
The cat and pumpkin are colored with distress ink.
The cup with the paw is by Newton’s Nook.

The background is created with a circle die  ,
Some sponging and water droplets.
The spiderweb around it is with some silver glitter glue,
Much more fun in person.
Here I all used an embossing folder for the background.
Coloring with different distress inks.

Happy Halloween!

Thanks for looking,
stay safe
and keep crafting,

Anything but a card

Good Morning Crafty Friends,

No cards today, but still some craft project with an image by Bugaboo Digital stamps.
Have a look on the
to see what other designers have come up with.

For my project I used:

This box has a magnet on the back and is on my fridge.
It holds small pieces of paper to write my shopping list.

This is the original box. The papers where
finished and I did not like the design anymore.
The box is 5 x 3,5 inch to give you an impession
of the size. Because it is so habdy I decided to
recycle it.

I started by covering the box with the zigzag design paper.
I did not have a template. I put some dubble sided tape
on the box and wrapped the paper around and cut, folded and glued
the paper to the box. I did not cover the back for the magnet is
there and I was afrais the box would get to heavy and
would not stay on my fridge.

Then I cut a strip of coffee bean paper to add in the
middle of the box and a ribbon around it.

The girls is colored with Stampin'Blends and
the sentiment is printed with the computer.
New paper for shopping lists added and it is
back on my fridge again!
