Stencil it

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today i have made a card for the challenge on

the Wednesday challenge blog of Simon Says Stamp.

The challenge is to use stencils.

I sart with creating the background with two stencils:

Tim Holtz Gothic THS 026

and the stencil that belongs to  Wendy Vecchi's Let's Shop.

The distress ocide inks are Tim's latest new colors

Kitch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina.

The ribbon on the card is sprayed white ribbon with the 

same colors of distress oxide spray.

On the finished card I used flower die cuts by Karin Joan.

They match the colors and tones of my card.

Let´s Shop

Hello my Crafty Friends,

You know about my coffee addiction.

I srink Nesprsso coffee and this comes in capsules.

Recently Nespresso redesigned the capsules and the

boxes in wich they come.

So back to cutting up these capules as I have done 

before to make them into flowers to use on my cards

I have a more detailed )with pictures' explanation HERE.

I use these punches and emboss punch to make the flowers.

Here is the finished card with embossed beans in the background.

I used Wendy Vecchi´s Lets Shop stamp set again.

Perfect for adding a gift card if you want.

On the cups I used the decoration of the variety of 

boxes for different tastes.

 

Here the inside of the card, using the left over scraps.

And of course a fun backside of the card.

For this card I used two sided design paper from my scraps.

On one side i stamped the purse and cut it out. Not using it here

as a gift bag, just stuck it to the background,

The cup was left over from Saturdy´s card!

A close up to the flower made out of the metal from the

coffee capsule. My favorite Vienna Linizio Longo.

Mother's Day

Hello Crafty Friends!

Wishing all the Mother's a very happy Mother's Day!

Here I am sharing the card I made for my mom.

Even though she is in a care home, she enjoys getting

flowers and a card from me.

For this card I used:

   Falling Hearts stencil,

She is Fierce clear stamp set.

Hello Gorgeous set for the sentiment

and the rosed are from

Blooming Wreath.

I notice that it is very hard for me to stay to one set ;-)

The background is colored with Kitch Flamingo 

distress oxide ink, All the other images are 

painted with water coloring.

Of course there is a rose on the backside of the card!

Treat Yourself

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today my new inks from Tim Holtz arrived and

 a new stamp set from Wendy Vecchi, so I had to play!!

So for this card I used:

Tim Holtz Salvaged Patina (super new color!!)

Wendy Vecchi Let´s Shop stamp, die and stencil set

Thinlits set Crochet 664178

Thinlits set Funky Foliage 663087

So this set by Wendy Vecchi came with 

stamps, dies and a stencil.

I started by cutting out that cute purse abd decorated

it with the dots stencil. Of course I used the  new

Salvaged Patina distress oxide ink.

For the background I cut this lacy border

to give it a real feminine touch. I used the 

cut out as a template and then I glued it

to the the background. Again with the

new Salvage Patina color. 

To finish the card I added a flower decoration to the bag

 and inside there is a coffee gift card.

Of course it needed a coffee cup (decorated with

the stencil). You know my addiction ;-)

Artsy 2

Good morning Crafty Friends,

Today I have another sample with the 

clear stampset Artsy by

Funky Fossil Designs.

Again I used the Make Art stencil for the background.

The idea of this card is: you start with a blank canvas

and only the basic colors and will turn it into

a work of art. What doe you think?

Should i color these 3 also on the palet or 

leave it blank?

This time I used the paint tube on the back of the card.

Artsy

Hello Crafty Friends,

Funky Fossil Design has a great set for

all your artsy people out there.

It is called Artsy and designed by Ann Corbiere Scott.

There are also some matching stencils

and I have used:

Make Art

and Drips and Splats.

But if you look through the stencils

you will notice there are more matching this 

clear stamp set.

Dog Party!

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am still playing with the lovely dogs from

Funky Fossil Designs

called More Furry Friends and is designed

by Donna Gray.

I started with another big bone. It is decorated with the 

Dog Bone stencil.

Here is the bone for you to use.

Next I stamped the dogs on colored paper,

I colored the dogs with Stampin'Blends

and cut them all out by hand.

Here the inside of the card, made with washi tape

and again the Dog Bone stencil.

Also for the back I used the Dog Bone stencil.

The sentiment and the party hat is from another set

called: Let's Party.

More Furry Friends 2

Hello Crafty Friends,

More dog cards today, for i have many ideas in my head,

The set I used is More Furry friends

and you find it on the Funky Fossil Designs site.

The paw print you see on this card is an embossing folder.

This dog was easy coloring ;-)

And another fun stamp on the back of the card.

And with some papers from the first card i made this second on.

The red card and the circle embossing print.

The big dog bone i drew by hand and cut out.

I added  bit of grey ink all around.

You see I also used the Paw Print background again.

No need for printed design paper.

So much fun to use the stamps

on the back of the card.
