Coffee and Cards with Celeste and Deb

Today I share cards I made, because some of my coffee
friends asked me to play along with them by use this moodboard
and come up with a coffee and a tea card.

Most of you know my love for coffee, so I found this great
Coffeeloving Cardmakers group and matching
Facebook Group. A lot of coffee inspiration.
In this group I started a
monthly coffeecardlist and this is how I met Celeste and Deb,
who also share cards on their blogs with this moodboard.

They are here:
Craftingjunky Blog by Celeste

Isn't this a sweet anbd tasty moodboard?!
It inspired me for a coffee and tea card.
I  started with this coffee card using Michael Strong's
coffee cup stamps, Club Scrap coffee rings and
Verve Stamps sentiment and coffee beans.
The cups are embossed with
pink and baby blue embossing powder.

And here is the inside of the card with another
sentiment by Verve Stamps.

This is my tea card. For this card I used
metal dies for the cups, pot and macaroons
and sentiment by Verve Stamps.
Here is the fist look on the closed card.

And this is how the open card look.
I used a piece of cardstock of 8,5 x 5,5 inch.
I folded it double for the card and then folded
half of the front outward. This way you get a z-fold card.
I used various design papers matching the colors of
the moodboard for decorating the different
panels of the card.
Cutting the teapot from blue and pink paper and
decorating with the pink butterflies from Verve Stamps
and adding paper flowers with a brad for decoration.
Underneat I cut a label like a teabag and adding
a Verve Stamps sentiment. With a piece of
cotton the label is fastned to the teapot.

Inside I also made a panel for writing
that I decorated with a pink and blue spoon
that was also cut out by a metal die.
I found this wonderful teaset dies on
Aliexress here.
The inside panet is build on design paper
and a white paper doily. Cups cut out of
design paper and the steam is from the Michael
Strong coffee set stamped first bedore adding the
decorated cups. The macaroons are dies from
a Marianne Creatble set. I used a white gel pen
for the center and after adding the sprinkles on top
I used glossy accent.

Thank you Celeste and Deb for having me for coffee today!
Here I share my favourite coffee piccture of this moment:
Opa and grandson having a coffee.
My husband drinks his black coffee and Colin is
having lots of luke warm milk with a little spoon
of instant coffee

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday,
thanks for looking and have a latte creative day!

Stamping together

The other day after a family outing, my grandson
wanted to come to my house to watch some tv
and play with my stamps. He choose a set that
fitted his t-shirt!
We played with the dino's from
Stampin'Up! called "No bones about it".

We stamped together, he did the large dino's
and I added the bones. He told me what ink colors to get.
He made a whole page with dino's and we cut
it to size for a card and added some on top with foam tape.
Then decorated the card with glitter glue.

Some of the left over dino's were also ued for the inside
of the card. And he even took some home to finish.

I want to enter Owen's card in the Kid's challenge
I made this card with the sketch from the

Here you see the inide of the card.

My grandson is a real artist, he made is own art show
in his room, taping all his drawings to the wall.
He just turned 5, so what will he make when he is
a little bit older?!

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Cupcake Inspiration 417

I love the new set I have from  Stampin'Up!
called "Crafting Forever" and I used the stamps
for my card for the challenge on Cupcake Inspirations.

This is the inspiration for

I started the background with 2 colors of oxide ink
and did the direct to paper technique. I just love
how the background looks.

Next I stamped the images with chocolate chip
dark brown ink and also used it to color the pot.

To make the background a little more interesting
I used Tim Holtz zig zag and hearts stencil with
the brown and dark pink ink. Finished the card with
glueing a few hot pink sequins to it.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!

CAS and CS Lagoon

With the new Club Scrap Lagoon kit I
played challenge #117 on the Addicted to CAS blog.

You find all the details on the
Addicted to CAS Challenge Blog,

As my real stamps have not arrived yet, I printed the
mermaids tail and the sentiment first on 250 grs
white cardstock and cut it to cardsize and folded it so now
there is a card of 4,25 x 5,5 inch.

Next I printed the tail again on copy paper and
cut it out to cover de tail on the card. I got some of
my Club Scrap stencils and inks  out to make a matching
background by using belending tools in various colors.
In the end I used a wave and a dotted stencil to
create the background

amd adding some blue splashes with a brush as well.

Here a close up to the background.

This is how I created my one layered card.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap August kit: Lagoon

Each month starts for me with a new digital kit
from Club Scrap. This month the theme is Lagoon.
If you are interrested in these digital images, go HERE.
The whote kit, as seen above, is only $ 4,95.

The paper kit takes another week to arrive.

My first card card was inspired by the
challenge I noticed on the

with a beachy theme.

So I printed a few of the digital images on heave
250 grams paper and took some other papers from various
kits. I cut into the seaweed to make the fish swim through.

The sentiment is also printed and cut with an oval punch.

I printed the seastars in various sizes and in the center
I added a golden metal dot from a previous Club Scrap
kit. I added the seastars with foam tape.

Now the mermaid tail is covered with glossy accent
to make it really shine and before letting it
dry I added tiny golden pearls to give the tail
amore shiny and fishy effect.

and have a creative day!

Hoot and Holler!

Today I have been playingwith this cute digital
owl image, that I received from
for playing in the
progressive challenge on Facebook.

I used this sketch from the

So after printing the image, I colored the sweet owl
with pencil. I printed the image twice for I wanted to
add the eyes and the beak with foam tape.

The branch is the Bird Branch die from Tim Holtz
and the flowers are punched out, glued to the branch and
decorated with a sticky gemstone.

The sentiment is a stamp by Stampin'Funn.
After stamping I cut the sentiment with a die
from Stampin'Up!.

colored the fruits with watercolors.
