I found some lovely small honey jars that are a
perfect gift for Rosh Hashanah with an apple.
For on the Jewish New Year we eat an apple with honey
to wish each other a sweet New Year.
It is easy to make, here are the instructions:
I made two so you see here two of each.
For one treat box you need a piece of cardstock of
2x 11 inch and a piece of 4x4 inch.
You can decorate or stamp directly on the cardstock
or use some design paper, like I choose to do here.
We start by scoring the 4x4 piece on each side by 1 inch.
Next we cut the corner square so we can make it into a box.
Glue the corners and you can even add some design papers
on 2 sides opposite each other on the box.
Take the long strip and scor at 4,5 inch and 6,5 inch.
For top and bottom of the strip, I used this topper punch
by Stampin'Up!. I also cut some design paper and used
both sides.
Put the box inside the strip and fold on the score lines.
Glue or tape the bottom to the strip.
I also taped the sides of the box to the front and the back.
I found these mini honey jars for my treat bag
and made the box to fit them.
I added the honey jars inside.
Even my grandson liked to make one.
Coloring and cutting
and adding the images with stapples to the strip.
Her the bacg of the treat box.
For my box I used some stamps, that my friend Donna
made for me by special request. They are not for
sale anywhere: a big and small apple and the honey jar.
The Hebrew sentiment is by Zum Gali Gali.
Thank you so much for looking,
stay safe and'
keep crafting.
