Cheers!

Ok, so I was doing some grocery shopping, when I spotted
this bottle of wine. Perfect to have in my craftroom
and fun to give to craft-friends, so I got  2 bottles:
one to try and one to keep in my craftroom.
Of course it inspired me to make a card!
I used all Tim Holtz materials:
2 different stencils for the background
and the bottle, glass and corkscrew rubber stamps
the sentiment is Tim's too, but another set.

The ribbon is by D.L.ART and handdyed.

I love how the background turned out, gives a bit of an
Italian terrace idea. Summer in Italy and wine on a terrace.

The stamps have been colored with zig margers on a seperate
piece of white cardstock, cut out and added to the background
with 3d foam tape.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Here is my card for the
where the challenge is to add a die cut.
You find all the details here.

But I also made the card for the challenge on

where the challenge is a Birthday card.

Well what better than the man and his dog ( little man too!).
The dog stamp and the banner stencil in the background
are both by Funky Fossil Design.
The sentiment and the dog bone are by Tim Holtz.

The dog tag is a die by Stampin'Up! and the number
die is from my stash.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Simon Says: Anything goes

Here is my card for the Anything Goes challenge
Sometimes you need these cards and you just have to have
a few in your stash. This card is made with 2 Club Scrap
stamps. The stones are from Transformations 2015
and the sentiment is from Reaching Out 2015.

Now I am looking for this  sentiment stamp:
If one of you has this one lying around,
please let me know and I would love to
give it a great stamping home.

Simon Says: Bright and Cheerful

More cards for the Jewish New Year.
This time the cards are Bright and Cheerful for the
challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog.

I noticed these cute bee stamps in the Simon Says Stamp Shop
and I new they were perfect for my Jewish New Year cards.
The set is calle Bee Yourself.

A symbol of the Jewish New Year is a sweet apple with honey.
This way we wish each other a very sweet and happy New Year.

I started with making backgrounds with
distress spray on my craft mat : squeezed lemonade
and spiced marmalade. This background is the first
one, so the most intense color.
I love the little bees and the apple is PSX
and the sentiment is by SU!.
Tiny sticky metal dots in the background
complete the card.

For my 2nd card  I used a text stamp by
Zum Gali Gali in combination with the bees.
I used a little heart stamp from the set and
made it into tiny apples.
In the background I added some sticky
SU! sequinces.

And the last card has a variety of stamps:
The apples are by Posh Impressions
and the sentiment is a combination of SU!
and Bee Yourself. The background is a
honecomb embossing folder, that also cuts out
little parts here and there (where you see
the yellow paper).
On the wings of the bees there is a little
gold glitter.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Cards for the Jewish New Year

This year I have started quite early making my cards for
Rosh Hashana - the Jewish New Year. It starts on the eve
of September 29. ut than again, I am ready to send them out!

It happened, because I found this great stampset in the new
Stampin'Up! catalogue, called Slice of Happines.
You might say: isn't the apple always a symbol on Jewish New Year cards?
Yes, it is, but so is the pomegranate. This fruit is used on the 2nd evening
to say the special blessing for something new.

I also found this wonderful stencil on FunkyFossil Designs.
It worked perfect for the backgrounds I created.
The background is made with the direct to paper method
and after dried I used the stars of the stencil on it.
The sentiment is from an old SU! set called Mazel Tov.

Here you also see the scrols in the background and
those come from an other set called L'Chayim.

I hope you get some inspiration for your own cards.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
