"Mirror Mirror" Zoom class

Hello Crafty Friends,

Tonight I followed a zoom class by Michael Strong.
For him it was morning, but with the time difference
 it was evening for me.
The theme of the cards was "Mirror Mirror", using mirror paper.

These are all the cards I made, but Mike's cards where a little different.
This is because, I do not get a package with all the parts, but using
my own stash of papers, dies and stamps.

Card 1.
I made this into a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 size card
and found the moon image on google.
The stars I made with a SU! punch and the dots
with a white signo pen.

Behind the small suns (also a punch) are silver
circles, puched out.

The sentiment is printed with the computer.

Inside I used the star punch for decoration.

Card 2.
For this card I used the Bigz Clock die by Tim Holtz.
The clock is matt silver paper and inside shiny silver paper.
The disco balls are found with google.
The stars are made with the punch and also little
silver sticker stars.

Card 3.
Silver sircles with yellow flowers all punched out.
The flower in the right hand top corner is a
stamp by Michael Strong.

I stamped the flower twice and embossed the bottom one in
silver and the top one with clear  embossing powder.
The leaves are hand cut.

Card 4.
Again the Tim Holtz Clock die in silver paper
and behind the clock soft silver glitter paper.
Varius punches used for decoration and sentiment
made with the computer.

Card 5.
This mirror die, is not the one Mike used, but one I had from
Sizzix (very old one), but looks like a good mirror frame to me.
Flowers are punched out.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a lovely creative day!

Caffinated Christmas Card Callenge #7 part 2

Good day to my crafty caffinated friends!

Have you been playing along with the  #7
For details click on the link.

Here is another card inspiration for you
that will hopefully tickle your creative mind and
make you play along for this challenge with
coffee and stars.

The prize this month is by:
Twiddler's Nook.

For my card I used the Coffee Gnome by Miss Ink Stamps,
that I won in May  with my  gift card package.
You can see it HERE.

For the background I started with these two Tim Holtz
stencils and various oxide distress ink colors.

To decorate the card I used some thinlits from
 my Tim Holtz collection.
The snowflake is decorated with Nuovo glimmer
paste (it is a pity you do not see it on the picture).
The sentiment is from a Stampin'Up! set called
Merry Café..
Thank you for looking and
have a caffinated day!

Critters in Cups 5

Hello Crafty Caffinated Friends,

It seems hard to stop playing with this set

Today I will share with you how I made this card:

I started the card with the background using the stencil
Chatty Cups and worn lipstick and fossilized amber

Next I added 2 different stamps on top:
scribble circles with frayed burlap distress oxide
and vintage script with black ink.

Than i stamped the images I wanted to use.
Not only the Critters in Cups, but also one of
the sentiments from the Coffee and Friends set.

I also added a rol of washi tape from the set Flowerful
Washi tape to put on the background panel later on.

Next the coloring of the images. I used the same
distress oxide inks as I used for the stencil and the
stamping.

And here is the finished card with the washi tape
on the left side and a little flower on top
of the head of the cat.

I nearly always have a piece of paper left, for
I never cut the panel the right size for you never
know if you make a mistake (and than you can cut it off).

Thank you for looking.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the proces
of how I make a card.

Enjoy your day!
Caffinated greetings,

Critters in Cups 4

Hello Crafty Caffinated Friends!

I cannot stop playing with the Critters in Cups
by Funky Fossil Designs and the matching
Layering Cups metal dies.

I started with cutting the cups in rainbow colors.
I folded the paper and made sure the die was just a little
over the folded line, so the cups stayed together.
When I finished with all 6 colored, I glued first and last
pages together, so it became a little booklet.

Click on the pictures for a larger version,
so you can see everything much better!

For all of this mini book I used the new paper pad
and other stamps from different Funky Fossil sets too.
Also some stencils.

So below you see all the pages of my booklet,
if you have any questions feel free to ask in the comment
box (not anonymous, because than I cannot answer you).

1. You are my cup of tea!

2. Coffee (it is a die).
Stencil Lotsa Beans.

3. Bone-Jour!

4. You are tea-rrific!

Critters in Cups 3

Welcome back my crafty caffinated friends!

It is another day of playing with the awesome  set

Today the dog is the main character on the card.
You may notice that the dog in the cup looks the other way
and may wonder how I did this. There is a mirror stamp, but I never
have a good result with it, so I stamp  real well and than
scan the image in my printer. I save it as a jpg and
in my word program I reverse the image, print it,
color it and cut it to use on my card.

The images are colored with watercolor.

The cup is made with the Layering Cup die set.
Here the inside of the card.
The sentiment on the front and on the inside are from
another Funky Fossil Designs set called

and have a creative caffinated day!

Critters in Cups 2

Hello my crafty friends.

This Critter in Cups set by
is keeping me busy! I get new ideas all the time,
so here is my 3rd card with this set.

This time it is a tea card.
This set can be used to make tea or coffee cards.
I has 3 animals: a dog, a cat and  a bunny.
Today it is the bunny's turn for a card.

I started by stamping a border of teabags
on the background of the card.
Coloring them with brown and red watercolor ink.

Next I cut the papers and the cup (with the dies)
After coloring the bunny and cutting him out,
I assembled all the pieces and glued everything together.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative
caffinated day!

Critters in Cups

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am having fun with my new stamps and dies from
Funky Fossil Design.

I worked with the Critters in Cups clear stamp set
and the matching Layering Cup dies.

As you see the neighbourhood cat likes the card too!

For my card I stamped the background with the tea bag and coffee
beans stamps from the Crittes in Cups set and colored them
with distress oxide inks. Also did some spattering on the background.

The Cup is decorated with the flower stamp from the set.
Fun bit of flower power.

So what do you think?
Tea or coffee today!

Thank you for looking
and have a creative caffinated day.

Happy 4th of July!

Good Morning my crafty caffinated friends!

Have you had your first cup today?
Sipping your coffee and browsing around?

Well today I want to wish my American friends
a very Happy and wonderful 4th of July.

I made this card with my new

This company is a UK based company, but you
can find the stamps in the USA too HERE.

For my card i started with making the background with
Funky Fossil stencils Starry night and Sunray
with distress oxide inks.

The cup is made with the Layering Cups die set.
The stars in gold are punched out with a punch from
my stash. The blue and gold are very shiny, but as
usual this is not shown on the picture.

The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz stampset.

You see Fred (the cat) has decorated his tail to match
the Holiday. I drew his tail by hand, for the set has the
cat without its tail.

Wisging you all a wonderful day!
Creative caffinated greetings,
